First Annual Student Art Contest
“Not in My Future”
Understanding Breast Cancer and the Environment
Students in grades 4 – 8 in our partner schools are encouraged to submit an original work of art that relates to cancer prevention, healthy lifestyles, and/or the impact of someone’s cancer diagnosis on their lives.
Cash prizes will be awarded to winners along with the honor of having their work displayed at our Find the Cause Breakfast on October 3rd featuring guest speaker, environmental activist, Erin Brockovich. The first place winner will also have the opportunity to attend the breakfast and meet Erin herself.

Media permitted includes: drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed-media, creative writing, song, and dance interpretation
Entries will be accepted electronically at www.findthecause.org/contest starting July 1 and closing on September 15, 2017
Guardian must complete and include parental permission form and registration form with entry. Limit one (1) entry per eligible participant. Original artwork must be no smaller than 11” x 17” and no larger than 18” x 24” and be submitted in a high resolution digital format using .jpg or .png file types. Original creative writing pieces have no minimum length requirement, but may not exceed two (2) pages. Original songs must be submitted in .mp3 format. Original dance pieces must be submitted in .mov format. Submissions cannot exceed a maximum file size of 10MB and cannot contain copyrighted material or threatening, offensive, or abusive materials. Physical copies of artwork are accepted and encouraged but may not be returned to the original artist.
