2026 PREVENTION PARTY HONOREE

Join us as we honor Jill Martin at the 2026 Prevention Party to support Find The Cause Breast Cancer Foundation. The inspiring and uplifting event will be held on October 30, 2026, at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport. 

Jill Martin is an Emmy Award–winning television personality, New York Times best-selling author, entrepreneur, and longtime Lifestyle & Commerce Correspondent on NBC’s TODAY show, where she has inspired audiences for more than 20 years.

“Jill Martin was selected as this year’s Prevention Champion due to her extraordinary openness, strength, and advocacy she has shown throughout her breast cancer journey — and for the impact her voice continues to have on women’s health nationwide,” said Caitlyn Mosher Ellis, Executive Director, Find The Cause Breast Cancer Foundation.

After being diagnosed in 2023 with Stage IIB breast cancer and learning that she carries a BRCA2 mutation, Martin underwent a double mastectomy, lymph node removal, chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple reconstructive surgeries, while also choosing preventative surgery to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes to reduce future ovarian cancer risk.

“What distinguishes Jill is the way she chose to approach her experience with cancer; publicly and purposefully,” said Gretta Monahan, a board member of the Find The Cause Breast Cancer Foundation and recipient of the 2024 Prevention Champion award. “Jill’s willingness to share the very personal realities of diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and difficult medical decisions has brought clarity to conversations many women find overwhelming or frightening. She has helped shine the spotlight on the importance of asking questions, understanding personal risk, and making informed health decisions. By doing so she has become a trusted voice in a national conversation around breast health and women’s medical advocacy.”
